文化部艺术服务中心系文化部所属国家全民所有制事业单位，具有独立法人资格。下设办公室、人事处、财务处、演出部、影视部、美术部、培训部、开发部等八个行政、业务部门，具有涉外演出、展览职能。主要承担各类文艺演出活动的策划、编导、组织实施工作，国内外文艺演出交流项目的立项及合作实施事项；影视艺术作品的策划、立项、拍摄、制作等工作；各类艺术成果的策划、展览、交流、鉴定、开发、经营、中介活动；国内外艺术家的美术创作、写生、考察及学术研讨活动；艺术专业知识普及和艺术专业培训工作；各类艺术专业竞赛、比赛和艺术奖项的评选；以及与文化艺术有关的各类业务工作。
